Modern Warfare Map Packs on the way; Plus more Call of Duty games coming

Activision confirmed today in a press release that Modern Warfare 2 is receiving 2 map packs this year from developer Infinity Ward. They also talked more about the Call of Duty franchise as a whole and confirmed a new Call of Duty title being released this year (Vietnam?) developed by Treyarch as well as another title in 2011. All in all Activision doesn't see this cash cow drying up any time soon. 1 billion sold copies of Modern Warfare 2 can't be wrong. Makes you wonder where else they are going to take the series. As long as the single-player campaign makes a return to form in the next iterations I will be happy. Read the full press release here.
